Mariah has addressed the meme several times, and every time, she still claims not to know her. "I was just being honest and everybody's kind of blowing it out of proportion," Mariah told the Cut back in November. "I still don't know her," she told TMZ earlier this year, though J.Lo disputed Mariah's accounts during an interview with Wendy Williams in March, saying, "She's forgetful I guess," and noting that they've met many times. 

This week, during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Mariah has doubled down yet again on her claim that she does not know Jennifer Lopez. "You know what, I'm very forgetful," Mariah said, after Andy specifically referenced J.Lo's assertion that they do know each other. "Apparently I'm forgetful, because I don't remember the fact that it was just like, 'Hi, I'm so-and-so,' and then move on ... If I had never had a conversation with you and someone asked me about you, I'd be like, 'I don't know him but he seems cool,' or, 'I don't know him.'"
