While there were plenty of style disasters on this year’s Met Gala red carpet, there were also some stand-out successes.
And none more so than from Hollywood's finest male actors. British actor Idris Elba , who was co-chair at this year’s bash, made his mark on the red carpet in a sharp Tom Ford creation.
The Luther star, who also appeared to be flying solo for the event, was all smiles as he posed in the black tux and white bow tie.

While handsome actor Bradley Cooper, 41, looked as dapper as ever in a black three-piece suit as he was seen leaving his hotel to head to the venue.
While he was spotted leaving his hotel with director David O. Russell, he later met up with girlfriend Irina Shayk who was dressed in head-to-toe Givenchy.
British actor Tom Hiddleston, who was joined by his Night Manager co-star Elizabeth Debicki, also cut a fine figure as he posed on the famous stairs in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
