Being an avid supporter of The Future Project located at Malcolm X Shabazz High School in Newark, New Jersey, the legend that is Erykah Badu made a surprise appearance at the school and gave the students a cafeteria performance of one of her many classic hits, “On & On.”
While Pitchfork shares that the recording is actually from 2014, it was released just this week. The video features a very playful Badu waltzing in to the cafeteria before making a lunch table her honorary stage. Catch it below
